We have based our Vision & Values on 7 key words: Son, Father, Spirit, Grace, Community, Kingdom and Love. But you may have wondered why we didn’t include the word, Prayer? Is prayer not important?
Of course prayer is important, prayer is vital. It is the heartbeat of our individual relationships with God and the foundation of all that we do as a church community. It is such a joy to pray with many of you at our daily 8:00am zoom prayer meeting as well as when we gather for our ASK meetings. We have many amazing prayer warriors across Everyday Church and teams often pray ahead of Sunday gatherings and other activities.
However, I know for myself, that I can tend to be a man who prays, rather than a ‘man of prayer‘. Prayer can be something that gets squeezed in my diary when life gets busy. This is why weeks of prayer are so important. They give us an opportunity to refocus and recalibrate our prayer life.
I would love you to join us for our next Week of Prayer – February 18-26. You can find out all about that week and how we might refresh our rhythms of prayer in this video:
If you watch the video, you will also discover that we are partnering with the 24/7 Prayer movement so that we can cover the whole week, all 168 hours, in prayer. If you want to sign up for an hour or more simply follow the link below and sign up as a guest:

I know God wants to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20) so let’s come together in prayer and seek him afresh.
Blessings
